We use clear, limited status labels so visitors can understand what DoctorNearMe has—and has not—checked.

Basic listing

A Basic listing is published in the directory. Its information may have been provided by the professional or facility, an authorised submitter, public sources, or our team. “Basic” does not mean that professional registration has been independently verified.

Email verified

This means the submitter successfully used a verification link sent to the listing email address. It confirms access to that mailbox at that time, not professional identity or clinical credentials.

Admin reviewed

This means our team reviewed the submission for completeness, obvious inconsistencies, and suitability for publication. It is not a clinical assessment or endorsement.

Registration checked

We use this description only when a registration number and available official council record have been compared. Council databases may be incomplete, delayed, or later changed, so users should independently confirm the latest status with the relevant National Medical Commission, state medical council, Dental Council of India, or state dental council.

Corrections
